WORTHINGTON FUNERAL SERVICES THURSDAY

Body of Local Girl Who Died in Baltimore Arrived Here Last Evening Funeral services for Miss Catherine J. Worthington, 21, who died Sunday, June 17, 1934, in City Hospital, Baltimore, will be held at St. Columba's Catholic Church, Broad Street, on Thursday morning, June 21, with interment in Lower Yoder Cemetery (Immaculate Conception). The body is at the Arthur Elders' home in the rear of 115 Main Street, Second Ward. It arrived here last night. The deceased's mother, Rachel (Nitch) (Mrs. Richard Henry Worthington), was with her when she died and accompanied the body to the city. Miss Worthington's father, Richard Henry Worthington, died in 1926.Surviving in addition to her mother are five brothers, Richard John of Woodvale Peter Michael of Scranton, James Evan of Baltimore, Edward Thomas of Brownstown, and William Francis of rear 115 Main Street, and two sisters, Florence (Mrs. Joseph Francis Mayock) of Scranton and Helen (Mrs. Arthur Elders) of this city.

Also preceding her in death, her half siblings Mary Jane, Irene, and Richard. Her father's first wife, Mary Ann Howells-Worthington, and these children perished in the 1889 Johnstown Flood.
