A funeral Mass for Ardith Schaefer, a Greencreek area farmer, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at Greencreek with the Rev. Canisius Hayes as celebrant. Burial will follow at Greencreek Community Cemetery.

She died Wednesday at her Greencreek home of cancer. She was 75.

She was born Jan. 23, 1920, to Lew and Cleo Benham Fisk at Spokane. She grew up in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School in 1939.

She married Leonard G. Schaefer July 19, 1944, at Seattle.

In January 1952 the couple moved to Greencreek, where they farmed. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church. She especially enjoyed her 500 card clubs and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her husband of Greencreek; two daughters, Kathleen Keatts of Spokane and Pamela Wimer of Moscow; and six grandchildren.

Two brothers, Maurice and Donald Fisk, died previously.

A vigil and rosary service will be held at 7:30 tonight at St. Anthony's. Uhlorn Funeral Home at Cottonwood is in charge of arrangements.
