Clarence died of apoplexy ... at the Winnebago County Asylum and was buried at the County Farm on 27 March 1936. He was listed as a laborer, married, 66 years old and born 1870 in Winona, MN. ...

In the 1920 Census, Clarence was residing in Akron, Summit County, Ohio with Mary Rose Hull. They were rooming in the Mertie Whitney household. Clarence was a receiving clerk for his occupation. [Is this the same person?]

In the 1930 Census, Clarence was residing at the Winnebago County Insane Asylum as a patient. He is 60 years old, born in MN and married. His name is incorrectly indexed as Hall.
