Maxine (Bailey) Bell, 64, of 817 Barger Road in Martin died May 16, 1997, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services were set for 11 a.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin with the Rev. Ray Hardin officiating. Burial was to follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City.
Pallbearers were to be Sammy Wade, Kerry Wade, Timmy Wade, Johnny Bailey, Chris Bailey, William Bailey and Bobby Bailey.
She was born Novembeer 3, 1932, in Hickman, Kentucky., daughter of the late Gid and Freida (Barnes) Bailey. She was married to Billy Mac Bell and was a central supply technician at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She belonged to Cypress Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Pam Bell and Susan Turner, both of Martin; three brothers, James Bailey of Hoopston, Ill., David Bailey of Hickman and Donald Bailey of Wilmar, Ala.; a sister, Frances Wade of Mason Hall; and two grandsons, Eric Turner and Jason Turner, both of Martin.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Townsley.
