Debra Jean Sims, age 56, Harrodsburg, daughter of Norma L. Sims, Harrodsburg died Monday, November 5, 2012 after a brief illness.
Born March 23, 1956 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of Norma Prewitt Sims and the late Clarence William Sims. She was an billing clerk for the Department of Forensic Psychology & Mental Health, member of the Hillview Baptist Church in Hamilton, OH and attended Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church, Harrodsburg. Survivors other than her mother include one sister: Wanda (Glenn) Peavler, Harrodsburg; one nephew, Darryl (Sherry) Peavler, Burgin; one niece, Tammy (Mike) White, Harrodsburg, 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Stahlheber Baptist Church, 1800 Stahlheber Road, Hamilton, OH by Brother Harold Thompson with burial in the Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Road in Hamilton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Services in Harrodsburg.
