Quirino "Guerro", a resident of Abiquiu, was predeceased by his mother Elizaida; father Quirino; brother Orlando; sister Joyce; grandson Ray; and nephew Larry.

Quirino was survived by 3 sons: Mike, Ray and Lee; siblings: Tita Maestas, Leroy Maestas (wife Frances), Joseph, Arturo (wife Doris), Elvie Mariscal, Bernie Maestas; step-brothers: Richard and Teddy Espiritu; step-sister Eileen Maya; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces & great-great-nephews; Aunt Rafelita Martinez; many cousins with whom he grew up with & other cousins; special friend Jose Serrano; and numerous other loving family & friends.

Guerro's greatest pride was his military service. He served in both the US Army & US Navy. He was very Athletic in his younger years.

A Rosary was on November 11, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Funeral service was on November 12, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Burial followed in the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Cemetery in Abiquiu. Pallbearers: Leroy "Polo" Maestas, Martin Suazo, Aaron Maestas, Dominik Barela, Jose Serrano and Arturo E. Maestas.
