She was a student at the Knox School, Cooperstown, New York.
She was very active in riding/showing and competing horses, including obstacles, hunters and jumpers class.
In 1935, she attended the Bruno Hauptman trial at Hunterdon Court House, Flemington. She was involved with many social circles and loved to travel - she & her sister went to France in 1937 aboard the ship Bremen.
She died in a head-on collison with pick up truck. Services were held at home of her cousin Thomas Maddock.
She was survived by her sister Margaret M. Sullivan.
