George Manchester, 64; Gloversville, died suddenly while walking along a street in that city yesterday. A pedestrian found Mr. Manchester lying in the snow near 73 North Arlington Avenue and notified the Gloversville police. He was born in Saratoga County, but spent practically all his life ln Gloversville. He was a member of Gloversville Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose.

The survivors-are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Manchester, Gloversville; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Bennett, Canajoharie; three sons, John, Guy and George B. Manchester, Sr., Gloversville. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and the body will be placed In the vault of Fern Dale Cemetery at Gloversville.

George was married first to Sarah Van Allen and they had one daughter Florence who married my grandfather Roy Bennett. Sarah Van Allen died about 1904 according to an inscription on the back of a picture of Florence Manchester about the age of 3 . It said 1904 taken about the time of her mother's death. The daughter Florence was raised by Cyrus and Mary Duesler. I have been looking for any information on Sarah Van Allen and have found nothing so far.

George married second Hazel Murphy Manchester and they had three sons, John, Guy and George B. Manchester, Sr.
