Daughter of the late Ernest Harold and Evelyn Cromer, she was the widow of Melvin Joe Oubre. She was survived by two daughters, Stephanie McAdams (Henry) and Yvonne Smith; son, Joseph Oubre (Sherri); six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church. Her gravside funeral was held November 2, 2012, with The Rev. Kyle Caudell officiating.
