Jerald was born July 26, 1948, in Hettinger, North Dakota, to Adam and Nelda (Fink) Bullinger. He was raised and educated in Mott, North Dakota, and graduated from Mott High School in 1965. On October 4, 1980, he married Theresa Docktor in Federal Way, Washington.
Jerald was preceded in death by his parents.
