Kathleen Rollyson, age 88, passed away suddenly on March 3, 2011 at CAMC Teays Valley. She was born on November 26, 1922 in Widen, WV, the daughter of the late John Samuel and Lottie Theresa Allen.

She is also predeceased by her brothers, Samuel Allen and Eugene "Moe" Allen;
her daughter, Rita Rollyson Thompson in 2004.

She was an active attendee at both St. John United Methodist Church and Teays Valley Presbyterian Church. She raised her family with her husband of 58 years, Charles Rollyson, living in Hurricane from 1963 to 2006 where she was active in Girl Scouts, a Sunday School Teacher at Teays Valley Presbyterian Church and she was a loving wife and mother. Kathleen, aka "Daisy" by her Girl Scout troops over the years loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends playing cards and going to church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by
her daughters, Karen Marie Rollyson Carr and Judy Rollyson Hervall;
six grandchildren, Jonathan Carr, Lindsay Carr Lanham of West Virginia, Kiera Thompson, Erin Thompson of Houston, Texas, Elin Hervall and Erik Hervall of California;
three great-grandchildren, Austin Lanham, Audrey Carr and Kaleb Thompson;
one son, Jerry White, by an earlier marriage.

Funeral service at Teays Valley Presbyterian Church, 4122 Teays Valley Road, Scott Depot, WV with Revs. Doug and Jan Jenkins and Dr. Martin Hallett officiating. Entombment at Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.
