SADIE PEARL LAIRD
Of 319 Clark St., Bellwood, died at 4 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital where she was admitted a short time earlier. She was born in Peabody, Kans., Dec. 19, 1884, a daughter of Edwin G. and Olive (Hines) Gebhart, and married William C. Laird, who died March 13, 1924. Surviving are five children, Mrs. Edna Lewis and Earl of Tyrone, Mrs. Erma Craine of Riggles Gap, Mrs. Clarabelle Morrison of Juniata and Merrell of Youngstown, Ohio; 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, a sister and two brothers, Mrs. Bessie Kyler of Boalsburg, Elmer of Grazierville and William of Cedarville, N.J. She was a member of the Logan Valley United Presbyterian Chruch, Bellwood, and of Logan Council, Degree of Pocahontas. Friends will be received at the Johnson Mortuary, Bellwood, after 7 p.m. today.
