FRIONA - Juan Carranza, 83, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Blackwell Funeral Home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Teresa's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Sweeney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita; four sons, Doroteo Carranza, Pedro Carranza, and Frankie Carranza, all of Friona, and Santos Carranza of Hereford; two daughters, Romana Balli of Friona and Eva Lopez of Dallas; two sisters, Alicia Carranza of San Antonio and Augustina Carranza of Mexico; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
