Raised in Malvern, Susan was active in the schools her children attended at Ss. Philip and James in Exton and Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown.
She was the wife of 32 years of Edward J. Jr. (formerly of Havertown), and the devoted mother of four children, Meghan Santomarco (Michael) of Brooklyn, N.Y., Allison Levis (Jonathan) of Romansville, Pa., and Lauren and Michael, both of Exton. She was also the proud and much-loved "Nanny" to baby Emmelia. Susan was the cherished daughter of Mary (nee Farren) and the late William Boland and beloved sister of William (Lisa), Charles (Caroline), and Mary Kate.
She will be sadly missed by her extended family, and the many friends and co-workers who loved her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing to be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Exton.
Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan's honor to the National Brain Tumor Society, East Coast Office, 124 Watertown St., Suite 2D, Watertown, MA 02472, a cause Susan valued.
