Frederick Ward, aged 39, married, a Coast Guard, died on 2 May 1915, at Whitestown, Co. Louth.
The cause of death was recorded as "That death was due to Haemorrhage and Shock, the result of a bullet wound, self inflicted during a fit of temporary insanity".
His death was registered on 5 May 1915, on foot of information received from the Coroner for North Louth, following an Inquest held on 3 May 1915 at Whitestown.
