Obituary from Reedsburg Times Press of April 21, 1977 reads, “Florence E. Laeseke - Florence E. Laeseke, 79, 115 W. Main Street, Reedsburg died April 18 at the Methodist Hospital in Madison.
She was born December 28, 1897 in Westfield Township to Elmer and Ida (nee Hovermann) Selden. She was married to Louis Laeseke who died August 4, 1951.
Services were held Wednesday, April 20 at Gant Funeral Home with Rev. David Gilmore officiating. Burial was at Westfield Cemetery in Loganville.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer of Hillsboro and Louis; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Pauline) Lawsing of Lime Ridge, 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.”

He is survived by his wife and three children; Louis, Jr., and Elmer, Loganville, and Mrs. Charles Lawsing, Ironton; eight grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. S. W. Dearholt, Loganville.
The funeral was held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Gant Funeral Home with the Rev. S. J. Lambright of the Methodist church officiating. Burial was at Loganville.”
