Samuel D. Musick, prominent retired farmer of near Olean, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eliza Proctor, Friday, April 29. He was 89 years old. Death was due to complications caused from a broken hip suffered three years ago.

Mr. Musick was a well-known resident of the Olean community, having lived there his entire life. He was a member of the Christian Church.

His wife, the former Lucinda Duncan, preceded him in death June 22, 1921. The following children survive: Mrs. Eliza Proctor, Olean, Henry Musick, Independence, Mo., Arthur Musick, Jefferson City, Mo.; a half-brother, C.O.C. Musick, Russellville, also survives.
