Urban & Victoria came to Iron Mountain in 1890 & lived on the corner of Ludington & Foster Street. Urban worked as a blacksmith at Traders Mine & was severely burned when an engine from the mine & another engine collided at what is now the intersection of U.S.2 & Lake Antoine Road.

Mrs. Victoria Dessureau, 600 West Ludington Street, a resident of Iron Mountain for 36 years, died Saturday in Detroit where she had gone to visit relatives.
A son & 2 daughters survive: Wilbord, Mrs. Fred Rochon & Mrs. Patrick Toupin; also a sister, Mrs. Oliver Beauparlant.
