Ruby Mae Poole, 74, of Pocola was found Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, in Pocola. She was born Sept. 11, 1938, in Cedars, Okla. She was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church, where she was director and president of the choir. She was a retired CNA with Area Agency on Aging. She was the widow of Robert Poole. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Community Free Will Baptist Church with burial at noon Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. She is survived by a daughter, Lesley Burke of Pocola; a son, Willie Chambers of Pocola; two sisters, JoFrancis Guillory of Pocola and Cynthia Tillman of Orlando, Fla.; three stepsisters, Norman Baldwin of Fort Smith, Nathan McClish of Tulsa and Jacquelyn Lane of Chicago; four brothers, Earl and Maurice McClish, both of Wichita, Kan., Jimmy McClish of Oklahoma City and James McClish of Fort Smith; three stepbrothers, Willie Ricks of Pocola, Maurice Ricks of Fort Smith and Lee Wright of California; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Dixon, Mark Gordon, Stanley Rawlins, William Green, Kenneth Mumphrey and Kyree, Keith and Kevin McClish. Visitation and rites of the order of Eastern Star will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. There will be no viewing.
