Silas Osborn, 75, a resident of Frankfort,
Kansas most of his life, passed away at
Marysville, Kansas on Saturday morning
following several months of illness.
Mr. Osborn spent most of his life in farming
and gardening and was well known by a
large circle of acquaintances in this comm-
unity. As long as his health permitted he
was a hard worker and took great pride in
having a large garden. He was an obliging
neighbor and friend.
Besides his wife, Cora, he is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. Lafe Myers, Clifton
Hill, Missouri and Mrs. Hazel Jones, of
Frankfort, Kansas; two sons, Artie Osborn
Washington State and Gene Osborn, Frank-
fort, Kansas; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday
afternoon at the Padden Funeral Chapel
with Reverend C.L. Fike.
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
