Mrs. J.H. Poff passed away at 12:30 p.m. at
her home near Lillis, Kansas. She was 77
years, 1 month and 24 days of age.
Mrs. Poff had been in ill health for several
years and confined to her bed for nearly a
year. She had a large circle of friends.
Besides her husband John she is survived by
one son, Robert Reed of Sumerset, Penn.;
two step-daughters, Mrs. Harold Chick and
Mrs. Walter Moon of Montrose Colorado;
four step-sons, Lawrence Poff, Montrose,
Colorado, Orville Poff, Narrows, West
Virginia, Lester Poff and Orsie Poff, of
Kansas City and a number of other relatives
and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Padden
Funeral Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
Burial was in the Frankfort Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
