AIKEN, SC – Mrs. Betty Bane Wade, 74, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Charles L. Wade, Jr., entered into rest on Friday, November 2nd, 2012.
Born in Columbus, GA and a resident of Aiken, SC, since the 1950's, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Rosalie Truitt Bane.
Miss Betty was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. She loved to sew and go to Georgia Football Games.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Linda Dale McKee, (Rocky) Aiken, SC and Brent J. Wade, (Resa) Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Chad McKee, Shannon Wheeler, (Michael) Candice McKee, Kari Wade and Brentni Sheehan, (Josh) great-grandchildren, Riley Wheeler, Kayleigh Wheeler and Kyler Wade and a devoted caregiver, Debra Buckner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the chapel of Millbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Clint Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC.
