Mittie Elizabeth Adams Adams, 78, of the 300 block of Lombardy St., died July 26, 1992, in an Ahoskie hospital.
Mrs. Adams was born in Yadkin County, N.C. and was a Baptist. She was the widow of Orville Monroe Adams.
Survivors include a daughter, Virginia A. Cooke of Ahoskie; three sons, Tony L. Adams of Ahoskie, Michael M. Adams of Hampton and Danny B. Adams of Ritzville, Wash.; a sister, Rita A. Adams of Norlina, N.C.; five brothers, Hobart Adams and Ted Adams, both of Jonesville, N.C., Bobby Adams of Lewisville, N.C., Ralph Adams of Raleigh, N.C. and Kayo Adams of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Thomas Lamm. Burial will be in Ahoskie Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times as the home of Ray and Virginia Cooke, 516 Roberts St., Ahoskie.
