JARVIS, ALLEN - age 57 of Maynardville, went home to be with the Lord November 1, 2012. Member of the Mount Eager Baptist Church, where he was saved and he never doubted his salvation or that he would be with the Lord. He was the proud owner of Jarvis Welding, Inc. for over 25 years. Preceded in death by father, Clay Jarvis; grandparents, Hubert and Clara McKinney and Arley and Hattie Jarvis. He is survived by his loving wife and friend, Patricia Lewis Jarvis; his precious daughter that words cannot describe and son-in-law, Lori and Ronnie Clay; his two granddaughters that he lived for and cherished and was the light of his life, Kaylee and Emily Clay; his mother that raised a wonderful, caring and loving man, LeAnn Jarvis; several beloved aunts, cousins and a multitude of friends that loved him dearly. Visitation will be Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral following in the chapel at Cooke Mortuary, Inc. Rev. Johnny Smith, Rev. Joe Norris, Rev. Gary Donehue officiating. Family and friends will meet 2:00 p.m. Monday in Pleasant View Cemetery for an Internment Service. www.cookemortuary.com.
