Ruby McCraw 91, passed away Nov. 3, 2012, surrounded by loving family. She was the sole survivor of seven brothers and sisters, born and raised on a farm near Sanger, TX. Ruby settled in the north Dallas area after marrying Joe W. McCraw in 1939. They were married for 66 years until Joe passed in 2005; they lived in Carrollton, Keller and Dallas. Ruby worked 30 years for Braniff Airlines until 1982. She always said she was put here to work, so she loved gardening, cooking, crocheting and caring for family members. Ruby leaves behind daughter, Judy Cribbs & husbnand David; son, James McCraw & wife Linda; daughter Beverly Draper; 7 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank loyal caregiver Kim Little, who adopted the family on 6/1/2012. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Monday, Nov. 5, at Rhoton Funeral Home where Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 Tuesday, Nov. 6, immediately followed by interment in Hilltop Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
