Herbert passed away after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Sarah and their three children, Sandra, Kevin and Leslie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lucille. He is also survived by his father, Herbert; sister, Joan; brothers, Dennis and Troy; daughter-in-law, Linda; three grandsons, Kevin, Luke and Ethan; son-in-law, Tim; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He will be remembered as a devoted family man and will be greatly missed.

Vigil service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012, from 6 pm - 9 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on South Congress Ave. Rosary will be at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 10 am at St. Catherine of Siena on Convict Hill Rd. A small reception will follow at St. Catherine of Siena and burial with full military honors will be at 1:45 pm at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
