William Carvis Bivins, 82, of Albany, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Interment will follow in Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Born May 17, 1930, in Sylvester, he was the son of the late Carl Benjamin Bivins and Bessie Allen Bivins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Tillman Allen, and an uncle, J.W. Allen.
