Gloria Rita Danielson, 64, passed away on October 4, 2012 at Swedish hospital in Issaquah, WA. She was born on August 12, 1948 in Snoqualmie, WA to Edwin and Susanna (Smith) Wales.

Gloria was raised in North Bend, WA until the death of her parents and at the age of 10 moved to Seattle, WA to be raised by Axel and Alma Vidin. She graduated from Foster High School in Tukwila, WA in 1966. After high school she began work for The Bon Marche in Seattle, WA in the housewares department where she worked for 14 years. It was at the Bon Marche in Southcenter that she met her future husband Larry Danielson.

Gloria married Larry in 1977 in Seattle, WA. They were happily married for 35 years. They lived in Kent, WA and had two children. Then in 1984, Gloria and Larry decided to return to North Bend, WA and built a house on the land she had inherited from her parents. Gloria and the Danielson family have lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for the past 28 years.

For many years, Gloria was a stay at home mom happily raising her children and returned to work once her children were of school age. She worked for the Snoqualmie Valley School District for over 25 years in the kitchen and spent the last 20 years at Mount Si High School working as a barista at the espresso stand and a la carte bar.

Gloria was a member of the Mt Si. Artist Guild (MSAG) and loved to spread the beauty of her art throughout the Valley and paint with her friends in the art community. She was also a part of the Cascade Covenant Church's choir, where she had attended church for almost 25 years. Gloria enjoyed painting, singing, reading, hiking, skiing, spending time with her friends (the ''Dining Divas''), and playing with her grandchildren. She had a love for life and always a joyful and lively smile on her face. She was a strong Christian and a witness to all.

Gloria is survived by her husband Larry of North Bend, WA; her son, Jay (Shannon) Danielson of North Bend, WA; her daughter, Rita Danielson of Bothell, WA; and her grandchildren Emma, Adam, Binh, and Morgan.
