Mrs. Rheba S Johnson, 71, wife of Harry W Johnson of north of Marion, died at 2pm yesterday at home. She was ill seven months. Born March 16, 1883, she was the daughter of Dr. Loren S Morey and Ella Barrett Morey. Her father a was a dentist. A resident of the Marion community eight years, She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church here.
Surviving with her husband whom she married Sept 25, 1945, at South Bend, Ind. There are four children by a previous marriage, Ethan M Barrett of Grand Rapids, Mich, Mrs Ruby A Marsh of Fall River, Wis, Mrs E Lorene Curtis of Saginaw, Mich and Andrew J. Barrett of Jackson, Mich, 11 grandchildren and a sister Miss Iris Morey of Coalmont, Tenn.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 am in the Merle H Hughes Mortuary on Mt Vernon Ave. Elder D S Thurston of Mount Vernon will Officiate. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after tomorrow noon.
