PASSED AWAY ON JULY 18, 2012
An angel whispered"¦."Take my hand, and come with me, your work here is done." Her beautiful spirit departed this world and was welcomed into the arms of her Saviour at 8:08 a.m. on July 19, 2012. Nicole's kind heart, deep family devotion, charming wit, and sparkling blue eyes will be sorely missed. She faced the last three years with absolute grace, courage, and dignity, and with a never-ending smile. She left an indelible impression on all of those whom she has touched throughout her life, and we will each carry a part of her in our hearts forever. Born on February 18, 1939 in Paris, France, she arrived in the U.S. in the autumn of 1961. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tony M. Kilpatrick of Baton Rouge; mother, Denise Rose Etienne of Paris, France; son, Jon S. Kilpatrick of Baton Rouge; son, Byron E. Kilpatrick and his wife Laurie L. Kilpatrick of Denham Springs; grandchildren, Brandon and Mallory; great-granddaughter, Karmyn; and sisters- in-law, Delores Kilpatrick and Golda Ensminger and her husband, Pastor Kenneth Ensminger. She was predeceased by her father, Jean Etienne. Nicole was a member of Fellowship Christian Church, Baton Rouge. Graveside services only at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Marble Valley, AL under the direction of Radney Smith Funeral Home, Sylacauga, AL (256) 245-1616.
