EDINBURG, June 17 -- Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon in Bourbon, Ill., for Thomas (Tommy) Goetz, 60, a native of Bartholomew county who died Thursday morning at his home there.
He was the son of John and Ludica Coy Goetz and spent his early life in the Kansas community taken by Camp Atterbury. He lived many years in Bourbon, where he served as postmaster and operated a grocery.
He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Lillis Atwell, two sons, John and Basil Goetz, of Bourbon; a brother, Roy Goetz of Arthur, Ill., a sister, Mary of Columbus; two half sisters and a half brother of Columbus.
