Mrs. Betty Sue Morehead, age 77, of Chatsworth passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Heritage Healthcare of LaFayette.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Gordon; mother, Mamie Gordon; and brother, Festus Gordon.
Survivors include her husband, W. G. Morehead; son, Eric Morehead of Hawaii; daughters and son-in-law, Donna Conner of Chatsworth and Tina and James Collins of Shreveport, LA; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Everett Long; grandchildren, Kina Conner, Kayla and Chad Martin, Brandon Etheridge, Meagan Morehead, and Madyson Morehead; great-grandchildren, Korey Conner, Ethan Bridges, and Ryan Nelms; nieces; and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Morehead will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Ramsey Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
