The death of Henry Van Valkenburg, a well known farmer of this place, occurred on Saturday, following an illness with bronchial pneumonia. Mr. Van Valkenburg was born at Long Point, Conesus Lake, May 22nd, 1845, being the son of John and Mary Van Valkenburg. He was married April 10th, 1866, to Sarah Fowler of Geneseo, and they resided in the town of Groveland until fourteen years ago when they came to Perry to live.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons and four daughters, Thomas F. of Groveland, William F., Harry H. and Grover C. of Perry, Mrs. Fannie A. Van Bramen of Burley, Idaho, Mrs. Mary E. McCauley of Groveland, Mrs. Nellie V. Harding and Mrs. Sara G. Allen of Perry, together with five grandsons, five granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
