Rev. Ard died Saturday. Born in Hemingway, he was a son of the late Lanco and Hattie Port Ard.

Surviving are wife, Edith Richardson Ard; sons, R.L. Ard, Rev. Flemon J. Ard Jr.; daughters, Genie M. Byrd, E. Patty McKelvey, Judy A. Heath; brothers, Liston Ard, Herman Ard, F.L. Ard, Lavern Ard; sisters, Dorothy McDonald, Louise Ethridge; 14 grandchildren.
