John Hicks, age 87, a resident of Tacoma 25 years and a basket maker by occupation, died yesterday at a local hospital. He is survived by five sons, John, jr., of Illinois; Fred, Charles, George and Allen all of Roy. The body was removed to the C.C. Mellinger company's.
