She was born August 2, 1910, in Campbell, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie Pittman McLemore.
Pansy was saved as a young adult and served her Lord in the Methodist Church. She was a 50-year member of the New Piggott Chapter #623 Order of the Eastern Star of Arkansas.
She was united in marriage to John Paul McLeskey on February 25th, 1933, and to this union four children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son: Joseph Franklin, infant great-grandson: Seth Riley Yates, one brother: Tom Houchin, five sisters: Alma Manship, Edna Redman, Agnes Duckett, Ruby Snider, and Henrietta Riege.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara and husband Vernon Kender of Swartz Creek Michigan; her son, Gerald and wife Linda McLeskey of Manteo, North Carolina; and her daughter Jane and husband Thomas Berry of Piggott, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Becky and husband Danny White of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, Ron and wife Jill Kender of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Gina and husband Jeff Carto of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Andrea Schlegel of Ashburn, Virginia, Tammy Yates of Campbell, Missouri and Lori and husband Roger Henson of Pollard, Arkansas; ten great-grandchildren: Kari White, Cheri Estep, Derek White, Ashley Kender, Jeffrey Kender, Thomas Yates, Callie and Jessie Henson, Chase and Taylor Carto; three great-great grandsons: Brady and Cameron Estep and Kaiden Wallace; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Services were in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas. Hoggard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangments.
