Francis Michael (Mike) Fitch, 66, of Chenango Bridge, passed away Sunday morning, March 28, 2010. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan J. Fitch in 2001; his father, Olan; and a brother, Ronald. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christine and Daniel Drumm, York, NY, Kimberly and Jason Micha, Chenango Forks; his mother, Dorothea Washburn, Stockton, CA; one sister, Elaine Florance, Port Crane, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Edward Katusha, Binghamton; also several nieces and nephews. He was a retired land surveyor with Hawk Engineering in Binghamton with many years of service. He had served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Mike loved to golf and fish and was an avid fan of Syracuse basketball and the NY Giants.
Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Daniel H. Ling will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
