He was born March 14, 1915 in Calhoun, Ga., the son of Marvin and Webbie Hugins Acree. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae G. Acree.
He was retired from the DeKalb County Tax Office.
Graveside services were held at the Blackwood Springs Cemetery, Calhoun, Ga., with the Rev. Joe Felder officiating. Survivors include a son, Gene M. Acree, Luthersville, and two granddaughters.
