Lester O. Day, 68, died suddenly during a heart attack Sunday at his home on Coshocton Rt. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. he was a lifelong resident of Coshocton county and a well known farmer and grocer.
Mr. Day was born May 1, 1874 in Franklin twp. the son of John and Amelia Day. He was united in marriage with Miss Minnie M Moore Dec. 31, 1897. He was affiliated with the Moose lodge for 34 years.
He leaves the wife; one daughter, Mrs. F.M. Bender of Carrollton; two sons, Walter E Day and Floyd A of Mount Vernon,; a sister, Mrs. Andy Heiser of Coshocton, a brother, Alva Day of Coshocton Rt. 2; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
