Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Saturday 3 July 1971: "MRS. NORMAN E. SELL, SR. Mrs. Lillian G. Sell, 74, of 305 Mt. View Drive, was dead on arrival yesterday at Sacred Heart. She was stricken while attending a funeral in Barton. A native of Barton, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy McGreevy, and was the widow of Norman E. Sell, Sr. Mrs. Sell was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Third Order of St. Francis, Christian Mothers and Sacred Heart Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are a son, Norman E. Sell, Jr., city; two brothers, Bernard V. and Patrick O. McGreevy, city; a sister, Mrs. Ethyl McNurrer (sic-McMurrer) Rutherford, New Jersey; and three grandchildren. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there tomorrow at 8 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery."
