Her Obituary:
Mrs. Dora Franklin Bennett, aged 51 years, passed away at the Lincoln County Hospital Tuesday night at 11 o'clock, following a long illness. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Concord, and a life-long resident of Lincoln County. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Concord Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Concord Baptist Church. Services were conducted by Rev. Edward Lee of Whittville, Tennessee, assisted by Rev. Joe Wells. Burial was in Riverview cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, B. F. Bennett; six daughters; three sons; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lila Smith and Mrs. Ray Howard; three brothers, Crawford, Ray, and Robert Franklin, all of Lincoln County, and father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Franklin.
