Obit - " Funeral Held for Ford Clinger, 59. Ford Clinger, 59-year old Llano County rancher, died Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 24, at his home at Lone Grove following a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at Waldrope Funeral Home with Minister Herbert Newman, Buchanan Dam Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial was in the Board Branch Cemetery at Lone Grove.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George H.Clinger, he was born in Llano County March 1, 1912. He was married to Nello Mae Beesley Sept. 18, 1937 in Brady. He was a lifelong resident of the county and ranched in the Lone Grove community.
Survivors are his wife, Nello Mae Clinger of Lone Grove; one brother, Charlie Clnger of El Paso; five sisters, Mrs. Laura Scott and Mrs. Adolph Schorlemmer, both of Llano, Misses Ona Mae Clinger and Cora Clinger and Mrs. Susie Holt, all of Austin, and Mrs. Dena Box of Carrizo Springs.
Pallbearers were Moore Johanson, Clyde Faris, Roy Beesley, Homer Gaulden, Tom Moore, Walter Overstreet, Clinger Scott and Gale Ligon."
