Horace Pendleton Butler, 48, died at the Community Hospital Fri. 20 Feb [1959] following several paralytic strokes. He was born at Sulphur Well, 12 Dec 1910, a son of Mrs. Pearl Pendleton Butler and the late Henry Butler. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ettalyn Cummings Butler; 2 daughters, Mrs. Harold Pierce, Frankfort; Mrs. Earl Emig, Louisville; 2 sons, Lyndon Butler, at home; Whit Butler, Edmonton, 6 grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Forrest Irving, Edmonton; 4 brothers, Wendell Butler, Frankfort; Stanley, Thomas and Morris Butler, all of Edmonton. Funeral services were held Sun afternoon at Sulphur Well Methodist Church of which he was a member. Burial was in Edmonton Cem. Rev. Herbert Polson and Rev. V.A. Jones officiated.
