Feb 15, 1955 - Humboldt Independent - Mrs Grant,70, Wood, passed away at the Johnson convalescent home in Fort Dodge Sunday morning following an illness of several years. Burial will be in the Union cemetery.
Mrs Wood is survived by her husband, Grant Wood of Dakota city; one son, Clark Wood of Fort Dodge; one daughter, Mrs Charles Powers of Pioneer; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and one brother, William Dean of Marshalltown.
A son Floyd preceded her in death.
