W. ERNEST GRACE

FAIRBURY - The funeral of W. Ernest Grave, 80, of 313 E. Oak St. who died Friday (March 15, 1985) will be at 10 a.m. today at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with church ministers officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be an hour before the service at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home handled arrangements.

He was born Dec 18, 1904, in Moss, Tenn., a son of W. D. and Rachel Head Grave. He married Katherine Louise Obergfel Dec. 28, 1928 in Tompkinsville, Ky. She died May 3, 1981.

Surviving are one son, LeRoy D. Fairbury; one daughter, Rosemary Stockle, Colfax; two sisters, eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one daugther.

Mr. Grave was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of America and the Illinois Harness Horse Association.

He spent his childhood in Glasgow, Ky, moving to the Fairbury-Forrest area at age 16.

He attended the Apostolic Christian Church in Fairbury.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
