After the death of Rebecca, he married Sarah Jane Carrington, 04 Feb 1857, in Muscogee Co, GA.
He died after a confrontation with his son-in-law:
"SOUTHERN GLEANINGS. . .In Russell County, Alabama, a few days ago, Thomas PRINCE instantly killed his father-in-law, B. S. JEFFRIES. The killing was done in self-defense and in defense of Price's [sic] wife and JEFFRIES' daughter." [Huntsville (AL) Gazette newspaper, Saturday, 27 OCT 1883, p. 1.]
