TRINITY -- Services for Daisy Lou Campbell, 83, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2004, in the Waller-Thornton Funeral Chapel in Trinity with the Rev. Gene Summers officiating.
Burial followed in the Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell died Tuesday, May 4, in Crockett.
She was born May 8, 1920, in Bonham, the daughter of the late Boyd and Allie Knox. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jewett Assembly of God Church in Jewett.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Alice Corley; and five brothers and sisters, Freddie Mae Evans, Mary Wright, Gussie Dean, Herbert Knox and Bill Knox.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence and the Rev. Barbara Campbell; a sister, Jeannie Boyette; an adopted sister, Mamie Nuwberry; six grandchildren and their spouses, Charles and Thelma Corley, Tonja Garza, Joseph and Cindy Campbell, Susan and Joe Aguilar, Melody and Billy Birdsong and David and Courtney Campbell; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Waller-Thornton Funeral Home of Trinity directed the arrangements.
