Mr. Brenner served in the Civil War as a member of the Potomac Home Brigade, and was a member of the G.A.R. and a pensioner.
He was a member of the Dunkard church, Sharpsburg.
Surviving are his wife and these children: Mrs. Joseph Hammond, Mrs. John Hammond, Mrs. Della Renner, Sharpsburg; Mrs. Jesse Clipp, Boonsboro; Mrs. Columbus Hains, Harper's Ferry; and Mary, Sherman, and Luther, at home.
Funeral Monday 2 p.m.; services at the Dunkard church, Sharpsburg; interment in Mountain View Cemetery.
