She received her education at the Round Top School in Douglas County, Missouri and on August 19, 1927 was married at Douglas County, Missouri to Henry Roper who preceded her in death on December 25, 1989.
Mrs. Roper is survived by; fourteen children, Jean Bunch and husband, Troy, Wilder Idaho, Joe Roper and wife, Gayle, West Plains, Missouri, Lucille Cunningham, Willow Springs, Missouri, Edgel Roper and wife, Marilyn, Wilder, Idaho, Nina Loring and husband, Ed, Sheridan, Wyoming, Thelma Tooley and husband, Wayne, West Plains, Missouri, Joyce Smith, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Charles Roper and wife, Carol Willow Springs, Missouri, Junior Roper and wife, Rita, West Plains, Missouri, Eula Parsons and husband, Leroy, Gower, Missouri, Verla Honeyfield and husband, Marvin, Willow Springs, Missouri. Earl Dean Roper and wife Chris, Platte City, Missouri, Mary Turner and husband, Don Caldwell, Idaho, and Phyllis Mask and husband, Carl, West Plains, Missouri, thirty-nine grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; one brother, Harley White, West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
