Gettysburg Times – August 29, 1981
Blanche M. Bouey, 83, of 275 DePaul Street in Emmitsburg, Md., died Friday evening at her home. Born in Gettysburg, Mrs. Bouey was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Sebold) Hartdegen.
Her Husband, James E. Bouey, died in 1975.
Mrs. Bouey was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Emmitsburg and the Sodality of the church. She was also a member of the Emmitsburg Senior Citizens organization.
Mrs. Bouey is survived by three daughters, Eunice Neighbours of Emmitsburg, Margaret Smith of Emmitsburg and Isabel Bouey also of Emmitsburg; two sons, Allen Bouey of Emmitsburg and Eugene Bouey of Olney, Md.; ten grandchildren and six great-granchildren; and two sisters, Nora Wetzel of St. Anthony's, Md., and Ruth Edgar of Emmitsburg.
Funeral Services will begin at the Skiles Funeral Home in Emmitsburg Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Francis X. Quinn will serve as celebrant and interment will be in the new St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday evening from where rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Funeral Services for Blanche Mary Bouey, 83, of 275 DePaul St., Emmitsburg, Md., who died Friday at her residence was held at 10 a.m. Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Emmitsburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Francis X. Quinn as celebrant. Interment was in the new St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Andrew Muenzfeld, Joel Neighbours, John Lupp, Sam Waddell, Jeff Bouey and Brian Bouey. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Skiles Funeral Home in Emmitsburg.
